The Blackwell family has been farming in the Coggeshall area for four generations. For many years they have concentrated on traditional farm fresh geese and turkeys for the Christmas market, and in 2004 set up the Rare Breed Meat Company to service leading butchers and food halls directly seeking high quality locally produced meat for which they could provide full providence back to the source.

Their main produce includes pork, beef, poultry, seasonal game, pheasants, partridges, geese, chicken, turkey.



While they also offer a number of locally sourced products in their traditional farm shop such as:

The Traditional Farm Shop brings the best of locally produced seasonal food and drink as well as our own farm produce in one convenient location, and is open to the public on a daily basis.
